Opening the gate
- On the remote control, press the left-hand button.
- From inside the house, at the intercom: the “eye” button shows you the outside, and holding the “key” button for two seconds opens the gate.
The gate closes automatically. The right-hand button on the remote control turns on the driveway lighting.

Turning off the alarm
The code changes regularly: ask for it through Airbnb messages before you arrive.
- Enter the code on the keypad in the entrance hall.
- Press the top-left button.
The cameras are outside only, and switched off whenever the alarm is off.

The connection runs via satellite: it may slow down if several devices are streaming video at the same time.
Times and parking
- Check-in between 3 pm and 7 pm
- Check-out by 10 am
- Cars private parking for 3 to 4 cars, just before the house, by the north garden; you can stop in front of the house to unload

Setting the air conditioning
Choose the mode on the remote control of each unit:
- HEAT heating
- COLD cooling
- FAN fan only
- DRY dehumidifier
Kitchen and laundry
- Kitchen oven, microwave, dishwasher, American-style fridge
- Coffee Nespresso machine; capsules are sold in the nearby supermarkets
- Washing machine and tumble dryer in the downstairs bathroom, with capsules and instructions in the cupboard
- Linen provided bed linen, bath and pool towels
- Bathrooms hairdryer and shower gel
TV and music
The TVs in the living room and in some bedrooms receive French channels and apps such as Netflix. An HDMI cable is kept in the entrance cupboard.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker.
- On your phone, select Megaboom.

Good to know
Smoking on the terraces only, never indoors or in the garden: in summer, the area is at very high risk of wildfire.
Septic tank: only toilet paper in the WCs, and no bleach.

- Guests 8 maximum
- In the evening lock the French doors; wooden wedges are there if a lock is stiff
- Garden lights switches next to the alarm keypad, in the hallway
- Electric fence along the woodland side of the grounds, to keep out wild boar and foxes
- Games cards, pétanque balls, table tennis: under the stairs leading down
- Gardener, pool technician they come on departure days whenever possible, otherwise as discreetly as they can
At the pool
Open from May to October · saltwater, regulated automatically
Opening and closing the shutter
Close the shutter every evening and in strong winds. It keeps the water warm and stops children from falling in.
The control is under the large black parasol.
- Remove any floating objects from the pool.
- To open: turn the key to the left, position O.
- To close: hold the key to the right, position F, until the pool is fully covered.

Starting the pool robot
- Lift the robot out of its holder.
- Lower it to the bottom of the pool, unwinding the blue hose.
- Press the on button on the base unit, kept in the storage box.
- The light turns blue: the robot stops by itself after about 4 hours.
No swimming while the robot is in the water. Afterwards, put it back in the storage box.
Around the pool
- Tableware plastic only: glasses and plates are in the kitchen
- In strong winds close the parasols and the shutter
- Cleaning brush and landing net available
Around the house
The village is 1.6 km away: 6 minutes by bike, 20 minutes on foot
Before going out
- Lock the French doors.
- To set the alarm, leave the front door ajar and enter the code.
- Press the top-right button.
The bikes are waiting behind the house. The keys to the bike locks are in the entrance cupboard.
